Advanced Display - Recreational Rhythmic Gymnastics

The Rhythmic Royals offers outstanding first-class recreational programs. These programs focus on developing flexibility, strength, grace, endurance, rhythm, coordination, musical awareness and creativity while learning the basics of the sport in a fun, positive and non-competitive environment.

We teach fundamental dance moves and introduce rhythmic gymnastics skills with the rope, hoop, ball, ribbon and scarves. Musical movement, fun and creative routines are incorporated to give beginners an introduction to the beautiful sport of rhythmic gymnastics.

Advanced Display Group Class Options:

Advanced Display Group

Age: 8-12 years old by December 2014

Program Length: 9 months (September, 2013 - May, 2014)
1.5 hours x 1 training session per week (1.5 hr/week)

When: Sundays from 2:30 - 4:00 pm

Where: Ecole Noel-Ritchot - 45 De La Digue Ave

Registration Fee: $67.00 per month

Throughout the year all Advanced Display Program classes and gymnasts will participate in several displays:

- Club Winter Display	December
- Display at the Royals Winter Challenge invitational competition	January
- Display at the Provincial Gymnaestrada	June

Body Suit

All gymnasts in the Advanced Display Program are required to purchase the team bodysuit. Your daughter's coach will notify you before the start of the training season to provide more details on where to purchase the bodysuit.

Equipment

Rhythmic Royals provides all equipment/apparatus necessary for the Advanced Display Program classes. If athletes would like to purchase their own equipment, they can purchase online.

It is important to consult with your daughter's coach before purchasing any new or used equipment/apparatus.

Class Expectations and Gymnast Conduct

Gymnasts are required to wear their ADG bodysuit to every class.
Hair must be worn in a high bun or off the face at all times.
No food or gum is allowed in the gym during practice. For all practices/displays/competitions, peanuts are not allowed! Water bottles are strongly recommended.
Gymnasts are expected to arrive on time for all practices and performances.
Gymnasts must inform their coach of any planned absence. They are expected to attend every training session. (Exceptions: illness, injury, and/or medical appointment)
All gymnasts are expected to behave respectfully towards their coaches and fellow teammates.
Gymnasts are expected to train with maximum effort during the entire duration of the practice.

Insurance

Each participant in the Rhythmic Royals Gymnastics Club must be registered with Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba (Rhythmic Royals will register your daughter(s) with RGM upon registration). Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba (RGM) is our Provincial Sport Association that provides each participant with the insurance coverage necessary for our sport.

There is a $14.00 fee for a Recreational Stream Gymnast

Each gymnast must be registered with RGM in order to participate in our programs. The Rhythmic Royals will register each participant upon receipt of the registration forms and payments. The RGM registration and insurance fee is included in the total registration fee.

Refunds

Refunds will NOT be given after the first three months of your child's program, unless a doctor's certificate is provided. When refunds are given only the fees that have not yet been deposited will be returned. The RGM Insurance/Membership fee is non-refundable.
